Mid-Century Walnut Armoire or Entertainment Center (Southwest Parkway) $250
Hi, I purchased this walnut armoire at Lakewood Furniture in Dallas a few years ago. I have the original order and receipt. They put custom shelves and brackets in it so I could use it as an entertainment center for a stereo system and small tv. I put books on the small shelves to the right. I loved it because it let me hide technology in a piece of furniture that was in keeping with the rest of my house. I don’t know if you can make it out in the photos, but each shelf has an original metal label plate: “shirts” “pyjamas” “underwear” “socks.” So fun. There are two original hanging rods still in the piece, and the lock has a key, but it doesn’t always work. I did not lock it. There is a hole cut out of the back of the piece, above the bottom shelf, to accommodate a large stereo component and have wires go out the back. I paid more than $600 for it. I’m asking $250.
